It was our first time at Sam’s seafood and steak. The food was wonderful. Best gumbo ever. I loved it so much I ordered a second bowl to go home and had it for dinner.

I met a friend here for lunch, I had never been but she's a regular. I had read some reviews that raved about the fried shrimp so I had to get that. All the reviews are correct, the fried shrimp is noteworthy, simply excellent! I also got a piece of fried catfish which was great. I love crawfish etouffee and had to order it. The very kind gentleman told me it wasn't your typical etouffee, but more like a bisque. It was so much better than I expected, it was my favorite item! Prices are great also! I'll be coming here again for sure.

Excellent food, excellent service!!!! Steaks were cooked to perfection, stuffed salmon was outstanding!! Fried pickles and calamari were delish!!! Will be back!!

First time we visited, but we will definitely be back! With the grilled entrees, you also have a choice of blackened, which I like. The blackened catfish was delicious, with nice portions, great tasting grilled vegetables and dirty rice. Very glad it comes with a side salad, which was great! My husband enjoyed the flavorful fried shrimp dish, and my daughter really liked the grilled chicken dish. The atmosphere is very nice and the wait staff is friendly with excellent service. All this , along with very reasonable prices!!

The location was excellent. They gave a choice of booth or table which I appreciate. The atmosphere was cozy. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive and efficient. The food was just awesome. Onion rings, crab balls, gumbo, salmon, chicken fried chicken - all superb! It's also BYOB which is nice.

Wife just visited and brought me an order of fried shrimp and gumbo here at work. Excellent food even after a 45 min trip to the office the fried shrimp still held up well and was delicious! Can’t wait to go with the family when I’m not at work to try more of their food. We both have restaurant background from the past and when we come across a spot we like we always try to highly recommend ! Definitely recommend this spot

I had the pleasure of dining at Sam’s this past weekend and it was excellent. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered steak and it was delicious and one of the best steaks I’ve had in quite some time. The fresh vegetables were exceptionally well prepared and very fresh and juicy. My waitress was just terrific. Very nice and professional. She helped to make my dining experience fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the food and the area. I was visiting from out of town and she made me feel welcome and made me feel like mg business was truly appreciated. Great restaurant and I’ll definitely be back again.

Very friendly and attentive staff and the food was delicious. We ordered the catfish and shrimp dinner plate and it seriously was some of the best catfish we have had. The gulf size shrimp was also delicious. We order hushpuppie as an appetizer and they came hot and were good.
